DEER PARK SENIOR AWARDS
This year, the FMV Foundation awarded scholarships to 8 amazing seniors seniors. Many of the seniors both played and volunteered in our Unified Basketball Program through the years.

UNIFIED SOCCER PROGRAM
The FMV Foundation has been granted the approval to start a Unified Soccer Program in the Deer Park School District for the fall of 2026. The Unified Soccer Program will be the 3rd Unified Sports Program in the Deer Park School District along with Unified Basketball & Unified Bowling.
Program will be 6 weeks with skills, fun games, and a festival.
SENSORY ROOM @ ROBERT FROST MIDDLE SCHOOL
This coming 2026/27 school year, the FMV Foundation is installing a sensory room within the Life Skills classroom at Robert Frost Middle School. Items will include:
- Sensory Water Bubble Tube Lamp
- Therapy Rocker Chair
- Sensory Wall Panel Set
- Skin-Care Crash Pad
- BouncyBand Peanut Stability Ball

The Frank and Michael Vertullo Foundation was founded by Mr. Frank Vertullo Jr. as a living tribute to his wonderful son, Michael. The foundation provides opportunities for children with special needs to attain personal achievements, through scholarships and enrichment programs.
We hope to achieve success by expanding our presence in the community and making a positive impact for our children.

Frank Vertullo
Founder & President
Frank Vertullo established the Frank & Michael Vertullo Foundation in 2015 in honor of his son, Michael Vertullo. Driven by a passion for supporting students with special needs, Frank dedicated himself to creating opportunities that empower and uplift this community.
On December 19, 2016, the foundation was officially granted 501(c)(3) status, marking a significant milestone in its mission. Initially, the foundation focused on providing scholarships to graduating seniors with special needs at Deer Park High School who aspired to attend college. Over time, its impact expanded to funding programs and initiatives within the Deer Park School District & beyond, ensuring that students with special needs receive the resources and support they need to thrive.
Frank remains committed to making a difference, ensuring that every dollar raised goes directly toward funding scholarships and vital programs that foster growth, inclusion, and success for students with special needs.
